Exciting things could have happened today, but alas, k. wasn't in town to participate in the activites and festivities the world had to offer to her.
Still, there's one event she's looking forward to, one that hasn't even started yet: This year's Life Ball.
Not that k. will attend the ball itself (oh no, she doesn't really like that sort of event, thank you very much), but she's already looking forward to seeing Nina Hagen inaugurate the ball with her new song "Immer lauter" in front of the Vienna City Hall building (for k. thinks it's a brilliant piece of music).
Oh. And Klaus Wowereit, the mayor of Berlin, will also be there, which is another good reason for joining the masses in front of the City Hall. (Because k. is of the opinion that Klaus Wowereit is a cool guy. She's already taken pictures of him, pictures of the 'professional' sort, of course, back in Berlin in the summer of 2001; unfortunately, she doesn't have any of them on her harddisk, else she'd share them with you. Pity.)
